The Corpus Christi Area has a long tradition of great motorsports at Cabaniss Field. Unfortunately, recent lighting improvements have interfered with hosting high-speed events at that location. The area is anticipating developing driving and social events for PCA members, friends, and motoring enthusiasts. Watch this space for more information. To find out what's going on in Corpus Christi, contact the Region using the email link at left.
We encourage any Corpus Christi motorsports enthusiasts to try events in the Valley or nearby PCA Regions or the local STBR-SCCA Autocross. Click the SCCA logo on the Stuff page to get more info on their club.

In November, Corpus Christi held it's first PCA meeting in quite some time as a "Meet 'n Greet" for enthusiasts at Rudy's Bar-B-Q. It was well attended and included some old time PCAers as well as new faces. Porsche of Corpus Christi donated a door prize of a cool 911 Racing Team shirt. These meetings are tenatively planned to occur quarterly.

From Peter - "On Monday we used to eat at Bill Miller's but that went by the wayside... my crew now eats at ChexMex downtown on Monday's.
Tuesday has always been Mexican food day... With 4 competing Mex food restaurants on the same corner most have opted to continuing eating at Daniela's.... corner of Baldwin and Agnes.. However the new Yoli's (next door to it seems to be attracting more folks as each day goes by... Charro's (same area) is a favorite for us as they have hugh steaks and Pork Chops...
Wednesday's during school time has seen many of us go to Del Mar College (Culinary Arts Department) for gastronomical delights (Jason's stepson is attending there and besides it's "CHEEP".... We've have at times frequented Bottomless Pit Bar-B-Que on Leopard near Miller High (Buc Stadium)... very good, lots to eat and relatively cheep... I think Jason and workers go to Bibeau's on Wednesday but not always...
Thursday.... always Bibeau's
Friday... always Fudrucker's... however Jason and gang have lately chosen Batter's Up... as sports bar, restaurant on Kostoryz between Holly and Saratoga...
Wednesday night, 6:30PM we try and hit a number of different restaurants like Hua Tai, Thai Cottage, etc...
Saturday night is movie night and maybe dinner... ya never know... depends on what show is playing...."
